A specific list of what this site can and cannot do, written for the person who owns the phone.
A page that ends is a page you can finish. Infinite scrolls make a catalogue feel endless and unsorted.
Every one of these patterns increases time on site in the short term. That is exactly why they need to be refused deliberately rather than skipped by accident.
We make the useful state of the site reachable in one tap: the floor, the daily roll, and the shelf you actually play from. Everything else is documentation for the minority who want it.
Watch what the site does when you leave. If it tries to win you back, we have failed. If it quietly loses your session and asks nothing, the design is working.
We accept a smaller returning number in exchange for a catalogue people can recommend to a friend without a disclaimer.
